So. I saw OOTP at 4 last night. *puts on critic hat* It was very stunning visually, I loved the transitions--that's what made POA good. Also the music was great, going ot have to get the soundtrack, for sure. I adored Alan Rickman (as per usual) and Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood. Threstals were sweet too, Umbridge was IC creepy, as was Bella. As always, things were changed but I felt it was a fairly good adaption. *takes of hat*
( some spoilerish rambling )Also, got bribed into drawing Lord Whippet and Dresden. Damn that "joie de vivre" icon. It's almost done, actually since I have spent a goodly amount of hours on it already. Took forever to get Dresden's face near-right. And I always forget how much i suck at short straight hair but...it's not so bad now. And, again, the paper isn't long enough--I started fairly high on it, mind, so I'm wondering if I'll just attach a bottom piece--just to make sure I've got the feet out right because I'm wondering if maybe there shouldn't be a liiittle more height. That and I HATE drawing feet because I suck at it. But as I plan on going to Mom's tomorrow to dye my hair *cross fingers* maybe I'll have a chance to skim those How to Draw Manga books for foot-help. And making sure it's not all too wonky perspective-wise. I'd been using some suit-pics, glancing, drawing and then looking up stuff again but it never hurts.
