Well, talked to Emily. And have *gasp* made plans to hang out with her and some of her friends, by going to dinner in like.. 2 weeks at a Korean place. I am proud of myself.

We talked on Y!M, I linked her to DBSKer and the epic Stephen Colbert/Rain rivalry. She linked me to random YouTube vids. Like Tokyo Dance Trooper , Two Beers & a Mustache and Wonderguys Haru Haru parody. And the beginning of Happy Together that I just need to finish watching.

Yeah, I kinda overlooked that one when it came out.

And yes, I did do my homework, thank you very much. Now to enjoy my YouTube.

So I watched the USA Women's Gymnastics qualifications last night (somehow missing the floor exercise stuff.) And the two uneven bars falls hurt me deep in my soul. Just aish guys. I also have a crush on Shawn Johnson now because she's cute like a chipmunk and so solid, you know? God, I'd love to see her as brunette. /pervy unni.

ANYWAY. After all this I was dancing around to music on my iPod like a dork, and as far as I can figure did some kind of skip-leap-type thing and landed the wrong way on my right foot. My arch was killing me this morning and I spent work half-limping and walking on my heel or the left side of my foot. I don't know...

During all this pain today, my boss Julie gets a call. Someone thought they left their credit card there on Saturday. Guess who supposedly rang that  purchase up? Yeah, me, near the end of my shift. Um, yeah, I don't steal. What made it worse is that Julie's boss (read: the clean-freak General Manager) came in to set up the new email like, right after the call and so I was all "...oh, snap."

In the trying to figure out WTF happened, it came into light how many employee discounts (read: 50% off) had been given to non-employees by a certain coworker. Who was promptly called in and fired by General Manager. As for the card thing, there's speculation one of said former-coworker's friends who had been hanging around might have taken it, or it wasn't lost here at all. All I know is that I sure as hell didn't take it and I didn't see anyone else take it.

So yeah, lots of drama. Kind of sucks, because, she wasn't that bad. And I was trying to convert her to Kpop. Anyway, when I got home I spent a good half-hour soaking both feet in some hot soapy water in the hopes that it will feel better for tomorrow. And I will avoid any weird movements tonight as best I can.

On one last random note, I am made of lame and am obsessed with some sappy songs: 我抱著我 (In my Arms) by SuJu-M, Thanks To and Stay With Me Tonight by DBSK.

I was bored and instead of finishing angsty ficlet, I went through MinHo and MinSu and tagged/retagged some posts between the last mod post and now as best I could because I know people are stupid and don't read the rules about posting and tagging and it ticks you off. I accidentally double-tagged a rating on MinHo entry and couldn't undo it but I'm sure you can, it's here. Oh man. I was scanning the comms and the lovely halcyon_morn did pronunciation/meaning posts for SuJu and DBSK.

There was much fail involved in my own pronounciaiton but a few highlights:

Junsu & Yunho. Thank God. I didn't think I'd mess them up.

Siwon~ I knew my ears weren't on crack for his last name. It's watching that movie...

Ryeowook ...Aish. Sorry, Wookie. I didn't mean to fail so hard at your name..I'm still not all that sure. Maybe I should call you by your Chinese name...

Note to self, for the billionth time: Learn. Hangul.

Actually I got back around midnight last night but, yeah.

So, the concert was awesome. Waiting to get in while it was hot kinda sucked, but I bought some mandu. And then accidentally went dyslexic on my row/seat for the first half hour. So if that was your seat, omg, I am so sorry I didn't mean to. Must have been the whole traveling for 6 hours on 2 hours of sleep and not really eating that much until the mandu around 4:30. Because I'm not a bad person. I mean, I wanted to see them close, but I wasn't going to *steal* someone's seat--that's not how I roll. And they were *the* last group on so, you got to see them much closer.

But Junsu sang the Korean anthem! You could even hear him half the time!

Suju T brought out Yesung to sing Happiness with them at the end of their set :D. And yes, Heechul is just as crazy. He grabbed a flower and got close enough for people to touch him the attn whore. Yes, I sang along to Rokkugo!!! as best I could. And prolly looked like a major dork. I don't care.

Minwoo...is really hot. Dude can dance and when he took off his shirt and hurled it into the crowd of screaming fans, he was built.

SNSD...has issues singing live, some of them did really awesome--had good projection, but others needed some help. But they were pretty and really polite, bowing to us and the band at the end. Good job, girls.

Son Ho Young...is very interesting, got everyone nice and worked up before DBSK and I'mma have to find some of his stuff, I think.

DBSK. oh, boys. God, everyone was so worked up by the time they came on. Rising Sun is what they started with and everyone was all *SCREAM* and then they said hi and there was more screaming and then there was audience to artist convos, Boys in bold, Cass in Red, obviously:

But yeah, it went well. Tonight was pretty, Changminnie and Jaejoong did a "I can sing higher and fancier than you can" contest Joongie won. They did Purple Line..which I could only sing along the English too because I like the Japanese one more, and it was the Korean version...They 'went away' to come back and do Balloons. And SuJu and SNSD came out to sing along...And then it was the finally where everyone sang... one of the songs was totally from the SM TOWN thing, I swear.

I'm currently catching up on stuff, nearly laughing to death at some of the OMG I SAW/MET THEM fan accounts.

+AN2: At this time I'd like to inform any and all readers of What About Now? that the story is going on hiatus until further notice. The Muse and I are having a spat, she's taken the plot, characters and motivation and left me with heavy case of writer's block.

Aish. Everyone's posting their Yunho/U-Know fics. I got inspired by the person's icon before looking at what they were requesting thinking immediately 'doppelganger'. Then I kept watching the Beatuiful You vid and got a more interestingly twisted idea.

So I started writing that night. Haven't finished yet but over 6500 wds right now. And people are posting stuff... and this annoys me. Because I have not finished and...I think mine's good, damn it. I don't want it to get lost in a sea of random fics. I just hope that no one thinks I copied theri idea or something.

Also have been listening to two totally non-connected songs. So Close by Jon McLaughlin from Enchanted is one. I forget who I have to blame for that, just that it was pimped in a fic. Nice bittersweet song. The other one is H.O.T's Candy. I almost died when I saw the translation. It's so upbeat and :D but the lyrics are all...not. Need to find a version where the romanized!Hangul isn't written out by syllable in equal spacing. V. annoying for trying to sing along.

Should work on actually learning out to read hangul, that would solve things with singing. Because sometimes, some people's romanizations are more phonetic than romanized. Gets me all confuzzled when I've learned how to read stuff.

On another note, have discovered that I can watch the region 3 dvds on a linux os. Yay. Must go over to my dad's sometime to do that properly since my laptop doesn't have it.

So today's gonna be kind of weird. Mainly because I'm closing, so my shifts 5-9ish. I also got up around half-past noon and ate half a pint of Strawberry Kiwi gelato for brunch. Yeah, I know. Moving on.

I have to work on fics. My dearest dongsaeng, butterflyweb, reminded me in her subtle way and untyped threat of DO YOU WANT TO DIE? that I needed to, desperately. She's such a good dongsaeng like that, keeping me on my toes. Unni loves you, please feel better soon!

Never mind that two of the fics she wanted me to work on are...pretty much unveiwed by the public. XD. But WAN? is and I admit, what with the RPing and the KMF stuff I got sidetracked. WAN? has really been hating me...it should be getting easier, but I guess it's just feeling bad for knowing where it's going and having to write it out.

Also I have some SNSD on my computer. Well, Kissing You and Into the World. I blame that Kissing You MV where Donghae is an utter dork and, face it, the girls are cute. Excpet for Hyoyeon. Sorry girl, you can dance but...not feeling the attempt at blonde hair or that hideous pink thing you were wearing there. I also watched a lot of their Girl's Generation Goes to School thing. I feel like a pervert but that's nothing new.

I'm going to be leaving in half an hour to get there way early and eat a big lunch/dinner type thing at California Pizza Kitchen, since I've never been there. Also, so that if I have extra time I can poke around Ragstock for more KMF gear to make. (Hit up Michael's the other day, HUZZAH FOR PLAIN RED T-SHIRTS AND HATS!)
